Play Therapy
Individual sessions cost from £45 for a 45 minute session, held weekly for a minimum of 12 sessions
Filial Therapy
Group sessions last for ten weeks for an hour and a half each session, and are held weekly. The cost for group filial from £40 per session per person – discounts are given if both parents attend.
Individual sessions cost from £50 for an hour session, held weekly for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Dyadic Development Therapy
DDP sessions last for 45 minutes at a cost of from £50 per session. They take place weekly, and to begin with, just the parents (preferably both) attend. The child will then join the sessions with the parents, and continue as the therapist determines. It may be that sessions with the parents alone are required again depending on the response of the child and parents to the therapy. There is no set guide for this and no set length of time for therapy.
To help planning and funding, a guide of a minimum of 20 sessions is advisable. This is not a short-term intervention, but can have long term, lasting impact for the child and the family.
Sandplay Therapy
Individual sessions cost from £50 for an hour session, held weekly – duration is determined by outcomes of the therapy.
Clinical Supervision
Play Therapy
PTUK require qualified therapists to attend supervision for a minimum of one and a half hours per month. Trainee therapists are required to attend one hour’s supervision for every six sessions with clients, and a minimum of one and a half hours per month.
For qualified therapists the cost is from £50 per hour. For trainee therapists the cost is £30 per hour.

The cost for one to one supervision is from £50 per hour, the cost for group supervision is from £150 for one and half hours, with a maximum of 8 people.
